Sooooo...... This weekend I went to Los Angeles for a BIG party! And btw: it went till like 11:30, which is pretty late for my party standards. Anyway, while I was at this party, I happened to notice a few cool trends in the dresses. And just to be fun, I'll make it a list:
1. Off the shoulder dresses
I happened to notice that LOTS of people were rocking cool silk, or pretty lace off the shoulder dresses, and I have to admit, I kind of like that style.
2. Tank dresses
Tank dresses are simple and stylish. Some people had plain, some lace, and some crazy cutouts! It was just easy to pull off, and GREAT for a late summer evening
3. CRAZY creations
Patterns with mesh, satin, ruffles and lace all mashed together into sophisticated, stylish, and not to mention crazy outfits were common occurrences at the party. They looked cool, and almost shimmered in the bright lights out on the dance floor. Definitely rated a 10 for adventurous outfit-wearers everywhere.
4. Lace + Cutouts
I saw a LOT of dresses that were beautiful, but the lace ones stood out at me, basically screaming sophisticated, sleek, and stylish. I saw one that was COMPLETELY memorable. It was black satin, with skinny straps, and ending just above the knees. But the best part was the stripe at the waist that was just lace. I loved it! The cutouts were great too. Cold-Shoulder cutouts, and designs in the back were fabulous, especially when placed against a sleek, simple, dress.Labels: Party, Trending, Trends
