How to get the perfectly put together school outfit

Everyone has seen that person who looks effortlessly put-together in a brand new, fresh outfit every morning. But with school dress codes, that just isn’t the reality without a ton of hard work. But once your outfit is together, you’ll feel just as perfect as if you were in a fashion magazine. So to make it easier for you, I’ve put together some guidelines for school shopping, as well as one of my favorite late spring school outfits.

We all love the occasional off the shoulder top, and cute miniskirt. But those items don’t work with many school dress codes. So while those are great if you are shopping for the weekend, you have to have a different mindset when you are shopping for school clothes. Along with thinking about whether or not you like something, and if it’s cute, you also have to ask yourself if it’s dress code, and if it will look good with other dress code abiding items that you own. That is definitely a tall task, but with a little creativity you can manage. And here’s one of my top late-spring school outfits that can be a base for your outfit, or just pure inspiration:

Here are some of my other favorite school pieces:

Denim skirt

Tee shirt

Ripped jeans
